1. About Paw Sathi

Paw Sathi Foundation (“Paw Sathi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a registered non-profit organisation (Reg. No. U88900KA2026NPL221478) dedicated to animal welfare in India. We operate an online crowdfunding platform that connects donors with verified animal rescue and welfare campaigns run by NGOs and individual rescuers.

We are registered under Section 80G and Section 12A of the Income Tax Act, 1961, allowing eligible donations to qualify for tax deductions under Indian law.

2. Eligibility

By using this platform, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age or are using the platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• The payment method you use belongs to you or you are authorised to use it.
• The information you provide during donation or registration is accurate and complete.

3. Donations

3.1 Nature of Donations

All contributions made through Paw Sathi are voluntary donations. Paw Sathi charges zero platform fees — 100% of your donation goes directly to the campaign you support.

3.2 One-Time Donations

One-time donations are processed immediately through Razorpay. Upon successful payment, you will receive an email confirmation and a donation receipt.

3.3 Monthly Sponsorships

Monthly sponsorships create a recurring payment mandate through Razorpay. By setting up a monthly sponsorship, you authorise Paw Sathi to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. You may cancel at any time by contacting us at pawsathi23@gmail.com or through your bank.

3.4 Refund Policy

As a general rule, donations are non-refundable once processed, as funds are directed immediately towards animal care. Refunds will only be considered in cases of duplicate transactions or proven technical errors. To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of the transaction at pawsathi23@gmail.com with your transaction ID.

3.5 80G Tax Benefits

80G tax benefit certificates will be issued to eligible donors. Please ensure you provide your correct PAN number and address during the donation process. Paw Sathi is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete information provided by the donor.

4. Campaign Verification

Every campaign listed on Paw Sathi goes through a review process before being published. However, Paw Sathi does not guarantee the accuracy of every detail provided by individual campaign organisers. We encourage donors to read campaign descriptions carefully.

If you suspect a campaign is fraudulent or misleading, please report it to us immediately at pawsathi23@gmail.com. We will investigate and take appropriate action.

5. Animal Adoption / Sponsorship

“Adoption” on Paw Sathi refers exclusively to monthly financial sponsorshipof an animal’s care. It does not constitute the legal adoption or physical transfer of any animal. Sponsored animals remain under the care of verified rescue organisations. Sponsors receive periodic photo and progress updates as arranged by the respective organisation.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information during donation or registration.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its systems.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access the platform without prior written consent.
• Post, transmit, or distribute harmful, offensive, or defamatory content.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform — including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, campaign descriptions, and software — is the property of Paw Sathi Foundation or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

Paw Sathi uses third-party services including Razorpay for payment processing and Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising analytics. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Paw Sathi is not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of any third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Paw Sathi Foundation, its trustees, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, donation disputes, or campaign outcomes.

Paw Sathi’s total liability to any donor shall not exceed the amount of the disputed transaction.

10. Disclaimer

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without notice.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the laws applicable in the state of Karnataka. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

12. Changes to These Terms

Paw Sathi reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
